Users have been sending us tips and Xbox.com confirms that some Xbox Live members are experiencing technical issues with the service -- specifically with signing in. According to the Xbox.com Support page, Microsoft is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the problem. They also thank gamers for their patience and understanding but something tells us those thanks will fall on deaf ears. X3F will keep you updated as more information is released. Until then, go check out our Holiday Game and Rating Guide and get those wish lists ready for Santa. Or, get out the pitchforks. That works too, we guess.

Looking for a last minute stocking stuffer this holiday season? Valve is offering Left 4 Dead posters based on each of the "movies" in the popular co-op shooter. For those unfamiliar, Left 4 Dead's four levels are based on zombie movie plots each with a different name and setting. Posters for the in-game movies Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest and No Mercy are all available for $6.99 each or as a set of four for $14.99. Not a bad idea to dress up those walls this holiday season.

The Xbox 360 has closed the sales gap between itself and PlayStation 3 in Japan. The Microsoft console doubled last week's figures , shifting 15,474 units across the region, according to Media Create data (dutifully replicated on NeoGAF ). The PlayStation 3 inched ahead with 17,436 units sold.
